The current Miss Earth titleholder is Nicole Faria of India who was crowned on December 4, 2010. Miss Earth 2010, the tenth edition of the pageant, was held in Vietnam and televised worldwide.
Miss Earth is one of the three largest beauty pageants in the world in terms of the number of national-level competitions to participate in the world finals. Miss Earth is also one of the most publicized beauty contests in the world.

The show will be aired live by Star World at 8:00 p.m. while ABS-CBN and telecast on Studio 23 will broadcast on Sunday, December 4 at 10:30 p.m. There will also be a delayed telecast of the show on The Filipino Channel and on the television stations of other participating countries. It will also be shown on TFC at a later date.
Miss Earth 2010, Nicole Faria of India will crown her successor at the end of the event. The theme of this year’s Miss Earth edition will be “The Earth is Crying. Let the Earth Smile Again!”
